Data Controller

Scania CV AB (publ), SE-151 87 Södertälje, Sweden, is the data controller for personal data processed through Scania Used Parts.

What Data We Collect

We collect: name, email address, organization, role, and order activity. We do not collect payment information - all payment processing occurs outside the platform.

Why We Process Data

Personal data is processed to: operate the marketplace, facilitate orders between buyers and sellers, provide customer support, and improve the platform. Legal basis: legitimate interest and contractual necessity.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of the account plus 24 months. Order data is retained for 7 years per Swedish accounting regulations. Consent-gated Web Analytics data is retained by Vercel for up to 12 months under the approved plan. Runtime logs are retained for no more than 14 days. Cart data stored in browser local storage expires after 14 days of inactivity and is cleared after a completed order.
